Body Somatic Therapy

Body Somatic Therapy is a hands-on touch therapy also known as structural integration.  Like massage, it is performed with the client lying on a table, but Body Somatics goes beyond massage therapy with deep, structural alignment, working with the fascia, also known as connective tissue.  This technique aligns and balances the body, working to encompass all aspects of the mind, body, emotions and spirit connection.

Every one of us has emotional pain stored deep in the connective tissue at various places throughout our body, and that stored emotional trauma can cause physical symptoms such as shoulder, neck and back pain, headaches or stomach aches.  By addressing both emotional and physical pain, the practice of Body Somatics helps clients achieve greater balance, alignment and energy flow.  This leads to healing, wholeness and lasting results.
